Roughing It by Mark Twain age 37, 1872

In the story Roughing It , it talks about Mr. Young who is a man with many wives. He gave one of his wives(#6) a breast pin, which then made the rest of the wives want one too. So there began the problem for him when each wive comes in and asks for one as he is having a conversation with Mr. Johnson. It also talking about the Goshute Indians and how inferior they are to everything. Finally he writes about the CHinese on how harmless they are on the Pacific coast.

The satire I've noticed was when he says he will buy his wives(all) the breast pins just go get them away.
